“Towards Inclusion” Card Game Kit: an Awareness Tool
Trinayani is very happy to introduce the FIRST-EVER FUN CARD GAME KIT ON DISABILITY AWARENESS that NGO Trinayani has launched and developed over three years of extensive research and pilot study.
Titled “TOWARDS INCLUSION”, this Disability Awareness card game kit, is aimed at promoting acceptance, familiarizing the user with the world of disability through a playful method, challenging commonly held stereotypes around disability, and leading to attitude change.
So far, interaction with children/adults with disabilities has been minimal even though persons with disabilities are the largest minority community in the world. Attitudes towards people with disabilities are usually based on misinformation and assumptions as they are mostly invisible to us. We, however, need to start thinking about every aspect of diversity by becoming more welcoming and inclusive. Disability awareness starts with all and benefits all. We need to reach out, interact, and learn more about the people we share the space within this world.

For the Academic Community/ schools/ colleges, teacher trainee institutes, across the country, we continue to offer 90 minutes online sessions of this workshop against a contribution of Rs 5500, which also entitled the participating organization /school to One Game kit for free.
However, the key objective — post the launch of the Towards Inclusion game kit – is to conduct in-person “Towards Inclusion” sensitization game kit sessions of a duration of 3 hours. It is a preferred mode of conduct as there is a certain charm in face-to-face discourses that provide in-depth understanding and engagement.
