Jyoti’s motivation

I may have a Disability, but I am “An Over-Achiever”. Please don’t underestimate my speaking and hearing capabilities.

My hearing handicap is like a blessing in disguise for me. It became my personality signature. As a person, also living with HIV, and being a well known HIV Activist, am known as “a girl with a machine”.  Through the medium of the social media networks, I have taken HIV activism by storm, posting my life story, my pictures with quotes, blogs, does counselling (online as well as offline), meeting people face to face and not only that, I also give motivational talk shows in colleges and companies. I have never let my hearing disability let me down – in the opposite, I had reversed it to be my strong point.
