Films are an audio-visual medium where the attraction level is supreme and so, we opted to make videos about the cause that we stand for in order to grasp the attention of the majority. Short films, music videos and the documentation, of each and every event we organise, were all made possible with the help of our friends equipped in the field of filmmaking. This way, not only do we awaken people regarding the challenges that come with having an impairment but also explain the need for sensitization in our society, in a better manner.
Most people are amazed when they come to know that someone with a disability is reflexology therapist or that they play in and as a band. Hence, the links of all the films, music videos and documentation of our events are compiled to show to the ones whom we are yet to reach out to, that disability may be a barrier but not one that one cannot overcome.
We use these films along with others we acquire from across the country, in all our awareness workshops.
CBM India in keeping with their commitment to Inclusive Education agreed and commissioned us at Trinayani to create a music video. Our Founder Trustee Ritika Sahni wrote and composed the song “Sab Ki Hai Dharti” and trained a group of students from Beacon High School Mumbai to sing along with her.
The song emphasize the need to include all, in the learning process.
The video is beautifully conceptualized and shot by film maker and chairman of our NGO, Shri Indranil Goswami.
